The Word of God has so much to say about the ‘ways of man’ and we learn quickly that our ways and thoughts (the way we think) are not like His own. . .

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord.
“As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.” -Isaiah 55:8-9

We are therefore so encouraged –and instructed to forsake our own ways [and thinking], to abandon our version of this life, and to take on the Lord’s direction and purpose.

(What a novel idea in this ‘Age of Apostasy?’ In a world of mass religious deception, selfishness, and gross spiritual blindness and negligence on the part of so, so many believers.)

But even more, “God doesn’t just show us a better way – He shows us the ONLY WAY that leads to life! There is but One, friends.”

Apostle Paul gives us God’s true formula for successful living, as He exhorts us to:

“Let this mind be in you that is also in Christ Jesus [our Lord].” (Philippians 2: 5-11)

A “Christ-mind” is what leads to a Christ-Way of life, and nothing else. The only question that remains is how can we have the mind of God? It is through the Spirit and power of the Word of God Himself! All of our best efforts of ‘trying to become’ are simply in vain. We must receive HIS COMPLETED WORKS!

Religion and the traditions of men can never accomplish the work that changes the mind and life of God’s people. It is only through our spiritual transformation of rebirthyes, being born again – that the heart, mind, and will of a man can be transformed into the beautiful image of Christ!

It is through His Holy Spirit that we absolutely can and must BECOME like Christ.

Through His generous Spirit we are set free from the BONDAGE OF THE WILL and He changes our ways for good. We will dwell where He is, always, as He dwells in and with us. . .

Join us for today’s message as we learn to forsake our wicked ways and simply follow Him!

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart,

And lean not on your own understanding;

In all your ways acknowledge Him,

And He shall [a]direct your paths.”

Proverbs 3: 56
