“He trains my hands for battle; so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.”

-Psalms 18: 34-35

The judgement of the wicked is always with us, but God’s complete and total retribution of evil will result in a ‘final fall’ – “a perfect and complete judgement” that is coming to all who follow the evil dictates of their hearts and that are vested in [the wicked systems of] this world. See: Revelation Chapter 18 & Jeremiah 50 & 51

Therefore, we are exhorted to “Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.” Romans 12:9

Ultimately, God metes out all final rewards to mankind and is the author of all righteous vengeance and justice. He calls His servants to stand in that righteousness and, in doing so, we shall see the salvation of the Lord.

Knowing the character and nature of God gives us all the assurances we need that Victory truly belongs to Him – and is also ours!

The book of Proverbs refreshes us with a knowledge and wisdom that allows us to rest in the patient nature of God’s Divine judgements against the wicked. The battle over evil is ultimately the Lord’s.
