This Passover and Resurrection holiday I have been tremendously blessed by finding a “buried treasure” that I believe was left for all of us for such a time as this! The Resurrection of our Lord is the centerpiece of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. More than any other promise, the Power (Holy Spirit) that has raised His own Son from the dead is the very same power that will raise us up on the Last Day. The Apostle Paul made it very clear in 1 Corinthians 15:14, “Now if Christ is preached that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty … But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.“
Ty’s essay and response to this question of God’s power is a deep dive not only into the power that resurrects – but the “faith that believes onto God” for salvation and every good thing in this life.
